Jack's E-mail about Jan

Dear FSU Gymnasts, Gymkana members & Friends

Sadly, I have to report that our loving friend Janice Eberley Anastasado passed away this past Friday, May 22, 2009.

She had a chance to hear the phone messages left for her on her answering service before she died.

For those is the South Florida Area there is an informal memorial being held at the Mental Health Association,
where she was employed, this coming Friday (two days from now) from 3:30-7:00 PM. Her son Rocky will be there as will Jan's best friend Anita, who is the Directress of the Mental Health Association and Jan's roommate, artist Regina.

That address is 7145 W. Oakland Park Blvd. Fort Lauderdale, Lauderhill, Florida 33313-1012. In the plaza behind China Buffet and Dunkin Donuts. The store is called MUSES and is identified by many original paintings in the windows with tables and Chairs outside.

I am told there will be over 200 people coming and going. (No viewing or ceremony) She had acted in concert with so many wonderful organizations which help others that they all wanted to pay tribute. There will be several tables set up to display her life in pictures. Many of the pictures are of her gymnastics world with many of us included.
